Duratuf IEC 61111:2009 Electrical Safety Mat: Product Overview
Duratuf IEC 61111:2009 compliant insulating mats come in Class 0 (1 kV), 1 (7.5 kV), 2 (17 kV), 3 (26.5 kV), and 4 (36 kV). Their standard thicknesses range from 2 mm to 5 mm. Though they are not as thick as ASTM D178 mats. These mats are common in industries and are installed near lift rooms, generator units, transformers, and other high-voltage electrical systems.
They are made of high-quality elastomer that has high dielectric strength. This non-conductive barrier protects people from electrical hazards like arc flashes, shocks, and others. In addition, the IEC 61111:2009 insulating mats for electrical purposes are thoroughly tested, certified, and globally accepted.

Duratuf ASTM D178 electrical switchboard matting is found in different industries starting from the power to manufacturing industries. They are installed near high-voltage application areas such as HT/LT panels, transformer units, generator rooms, and others.
The ASTM D178 switchboard mats come in classes 0 to 4. They can offer protection for applications having voltages ranging from 1 kV to 36 kV. Besides, they are available in two types- Type I and Type II. Their standard thicknesses range from 3.2 mm to 12.7 mm. However, the corrugated switchboard mats have anti-skid properties and reduce the risks of people falling due to slipping.
