Duratuf ASTM D178 electrical switchboard matting is popular in the USA industrial sector. For the last 15 years, we have supplied certified ASTM D178 electrical mats to various industrial sectors like power generation, IT and telecom, manufacturing units, etc.
The primary purpose of the insulating mats is to provide safety near high voltage machines found in industrial setups. They are installed near high-voltage application areas such as HT/LT panels, transformer units, generator rooms, and others.
The ASTM D178 switchboard mats come in classes 0 to 4 for voltage protection from 1 kV to 36 kV. You will get the switchboard mats in two types- Type I (electrical resistance only) and Type II ABC (electrical, Ozone, flame, oil, and resistance).
The ASTM D178 mats are thicker, with standard thicknesses ranging from 3.2 mm to 12.7 mm. But the thickness of Duratuf electrical mats does not make them heavy; our mats have tested flexibility and are lightweight.

The IEC 61111: 2009 electrical mats are another type of mat that is used in the USA industries because of their global compliance. Duratuf IEC 61111: 2009 compliant insulating mats come in Class 0 (1 kV), 1 (7.5 kV), 2 (17 kV), 3 (26.5 kV), and 4 (36 kV). Their standard thicknesses range from 2 mm to 5 mm. These mats are installed near lift rooms, generator units, transformers, and other high-voltage electrical systems.
The Duratuf IEC 61111:2009 electrical mats are made of high-quality elastomer that has high dielectric strength. This non-conductive barrier protects people from electrical hazards like arc flashes, shocks, and others. These mats are oil, ozone, and chemical-resistant.
