About Duratuf IEC 61111:2009 Electrical Safety Matting
Made of high-quality elastomer, our IEC mats strictly adhere to the latest revision of the IEC 61111:2009 guidelines. They are quality-checked through multiple tests evaluating di-electrical strength, aging, tensile strength, elongation at break, etc.
The IEC 61111 insulating mat comes in classes 0, 1,2,3, and 4. The thickness of class 0 and class 1 IEC mats is 2 mm, for class 2 it is 3 mm, 4 mm for class 3, and 5 mm for class 4 mats.
This mat for electrical safety is personal protective equipment (PPE), used in various industrial sectors like construction, steel and iron plants, power stations, processing units, etc.
The IEC 61111 electrical mats are placed near high-voltage machines like control panels, switchboards, LT-HT panels, busbars, transformer rooms, etc.

About Duratuf ASTM D178 Switchboard Matting
The switchboard mats are popular across the USA and North American areas. The Duratuf ASTM D178 switchboard mats are available in type I and type II varieties. The type I option provides you with only electrical safety. On the other hand, the type II options are resistance against UV, Ozone, and oil. Therefore, if you want to install an electrical safety mat where there is exposure to oil and chemicals, type II will be ideal for you.
You will get both type I and type II electrical mats in classes 0,1,2,3 and 4. The maximum thickness of these mats is 12.7 (approx). Unlike the bulky ASTM D178 mats offered by many suppliers across the world, Duratuf mats are lightweight and easy to install.
The ASTM D178 electrical mat offers electrical protection when installed near switchboards, control panels, transformer units, etc.
