Select the mats manufactured per the IEC 61111 standards. These mats come in varying degrees of protection from 1kV to 36kV. Each of the four classes of insulation mats is then reclassified based on insulation thickness, ranging from 2mm to 5mm, to withstand the shock of an energized maintenance area.

Duratuf ASTM D178 Switchboard grade mats manufactured per ASTM D178 have 2 options: Type I- Electrical insulation, Type II- Electrical insulation with oil, ozone, and limited flame-retardant features. As per ASTM standards, the mats have sufficient thickness (3.2 mm to 12.7 mm) and dielectric strength spanning 1 kV to 36 kV.
